Suzanne Reese of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on December 21, 2024 after a battle with ovarian cancer.

Suzanne was raised in Hillsborough, New Jersey by Nancy Dowches (nee Van Cleef). She attended Hillsborough High School. After school, she went on to work for the Law Office of Raymond R. and Anne W. Trombadore in Somerville, New Jersey. After many years with the Trombadores, she moved to Hunterdon County Courts, where she supported her close friend and colleague. In 1994, Suzanne and her family relocated to Glendale, Arizona. Upon moving to Arizona, she began working for Vetazyme Corporation, where she worked until her passing. 

Suzanne had a lifelong passion for reading, traveling, and horses. Her smile often brought joy to those around her. She loved circuses so much she once tried to run away with one in her teenage years. In the past years, she had enjoyed seeing movies, Broadway shows, and concerts, especially Arlo Guthrie. 

Suzanne is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Barry; her daughter, Alison VanDerVolgen (William); granddaughters, Sophie and Hannah; mother, Nancy; and many other family members. 

At Suzanne’s request, no funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charitable organization of your choosing.
