In Loving Memory of McNichole "Nico" Moran

September 13, 1992 – December 15, 2024

With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of McNichole "Nico" Moran on December 15, 2024. Nico was a cherished husband, son, brother, and friend, whose warmth, charisma, and adventurous spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege to know him.

Born on September 13, 1992, Nico’s curiosity and zest for life were evident from a young age. He was an explorer at heart—whether discovering new destinations, diving into the latest technology, or immersing himself in the worlds of games and anime. Nico had a special love for cars and motorcycles, a passion that allowed him to connect with others who shared his appreciation for speed, design, and the thrill of the road. His enthusiasm for these interests was just one more way he engaged with life’s wonders and the people around him.

Nico’s life was defined by an unwavering resilience and a boundless capacity for love. Even through the trials of living with congestive heart failure for nearly a decade, he faced each challenge with courage, grace, and optimism. His quiet determination and unshakable positivity inspired everyone who crossed his path, and his infectious laughter turned simple moments into unforgettable memories.

Above all, Nico’s love for his family and friends was immeasurable. He shared a deep bond with his devoted wife, his steadfast partner through every high and low. Together, they built a life rooted in love, support, and the shared joy of facing life’s challenges hand in hand. Nico’s legacy will live on in the lives of those he touched, the countless moments of kindness and laughter he gave, and his passion for SoMochiLove Donut, a business he dedicated himself to mastering and bringing to life, hoping to grow it into a brick-and-mortar establishment to continue his legacy.

Nico is survived by his loving wife, parents, siblings, in-laws, extended family, and a community of friends who will forever carry him in their hearts. His memory will endure in the love he gave, the passions he pursued, and the unwavering strength he demonstrated every day.

A celebration of Nico’s extraordinary life will take place on January 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Peppermill Tower, Lakeview Room 1747, (2707 S. Virginia St, Reno, NV 89502). We invite all who knew him to join in sharing stories, laughter, and memories as we honor the life of someone who truly lived with an open heart and a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help cover Nico’s hospital and medical expenses, as well as funeral arrangements, providing support to his loved ones during this difficult time.

Nico’s journey was a testament to the power of love, perseverance, and the incredible impact one person can have on the world. We will continue to honor his memory by living as he did—with passion, generosity, and a relentless appreciation for life.

Rest in peace, Nico. You will forever be missed, eternally loved, and never forgotten.
