David “Bud” Morris II, 51, passed away September 26, 2024 peacefully surrounded by loved ones. He was born April 1, 1973 in Sarasota, Florida to Bertha (Strehle) Morris and the late David Elton Morris I.
Bud was a lifelong resident of Sarasota where he worked as a handyman and tile installer. He was artistic and musically inclined. He loved listening to music, along with playing guitar and drums. He loved drag racing and loved to go and or talk about drag racing events with his dad and brother Derek.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother Bertha Morris; siblings Derek Morris and his wife Jill; Tiffany Morris and Kyle Morris. Along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father, Bud was predeceased by his sister Dawn Sargent and his grandparents Robert and Nancy Morris; Wilbur and Annabelle Strehle.
