With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William Bryan “Billy” Adair III, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on December 20, 1967, in Milford, Ohio, Billy was a strong, courageous, and caring man who lived life with energy, heart, and purpose.
Billy had a deep love for adventure and the outdoors. Whether he was riding his motorcycle down open roads, boating beneath the sun, or simply soaking up its warmth, he embraced life with enthusiasm. He also had a passion for cooking, taking great joy in preparing meals for those around him. But more than anything, Billy cherished time spent with his family and friends. Known for his kind heart, ever-present smile, and generous spirit, Billy was a friend to all who knew him and lived life to the fullest.
After graduating from Milford High School, Billy proudly served in the United States Army as an 88M Motor Transport Operator. His time in the military reflected his strong will, dedication, and tireless work ethic—qualities that defined him throughout his life.
Billy was known for his resilience, loyalty, and love for those around him. His favorite saying, "Adair Strong," became a reflection of the pride and strength he carried through life and instilled in his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Brooklyn Adair and Courtney (Alexander) Brown; his granddaughters, Emma Adair and Ellison Bates; his sisters, Mary (Charles) Rayburn and Eunice (Mark) Ernst; his brother, Charles (Kelly) Adair; niece Megan (Jason) Scott; nephews Charles Adair II, Nicholas Adair, and Will Adair; and great-nephews Warren Kandell, Jensen Scott, Theo Scott, and Charlee Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Bryan Adair II and Jung Hi Adair.
A celebration of Billy’s life will be held on March 30th from 1–3 PM at the Little Miami Brewery Event Center in Milford, Ohio.
Billy’s legacy of strength, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
