Katherine Mariam Cook of San Mateo passed away in her San Mateo home on September 21st 2025.

Kathy was born in Cook County, Illinois on December 19, 1954.  She earned a bachelor and a Masters Degree from DeVry University.  She lived in Los Angeles for most of her life, and worked for Prudential Insurance company for approximately 26 years in various clerical roles.  She was diligent and friendly, and well loved by everyone who knew her.

Kathy enjoyed needlepoint and spending time with her friends and family.  She is survived by her cousins Charles Rategan of San Francisco, California and Kevin Rategan of Hollister, California.
