Nic Lion, known to many as, Marcia Crandall, passed away on May 4th 2026, in San Francisco, California. As a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Nic carried the values of service, dedication and quiet strength, long after their time in uniform. Those who knew them remembered a person whose courage was matched only by their depth of heart. Nic was predeceased by their father, Steven Crandall, and their sister, Brandee Crandall, whose memories remained deeply woven into Nic's life. They are survived by their mother, Debra Crandall, who continues to honor Nic's story with enduring love and resilience. They will be remembered for their loyalty,  humor and the steady presence they offered to the people they loved. Nic's absence leaves a profound silence but their legacy lives on in every life they touched and every moment shaped by their kindness and strength. May their memory be a blessing and may their spirit remain a source of comfort and pride
