Helen Anne Wade

February 01, 1942 - May 30, 2026

Anne Wade passed away peacefully at her care facility surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Anne was born in O'Neill Nebreaska and moved with her parents and older brother, Dick,  to Tacoma Washington when she was a yound child. Anne moved to San Jose, CA after high school with a friend where she met Larry Wade.  They married and had two daughters, Terri and Jennifer. The family moved to Novato in the mid 70's where Anne began her retail career selling antiques, managing stores for the Boys & Girls Club Thift Shop, the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop, before owning her own women's boutique Anne's Secret HangUps. Anne was an active member of the Novato community. She was proud of being the first female president of the Novato Rotary Club from 2002-2003. Anne was instrumental in starting the AM Business Womens Club in Novato and was a member of the Women's Club of Marin. Anne is survived by her daughters, Terri Camy and Jennifer Wade-Yeo (Robert) and her grandchildren Kevin Camy (Chantal Gibeault), Kenneth Camy (Lucy Ortiz), Chris Camy and Payton Yeo and nieces, nephews and cousins.

As Anne loved to entertain, there will be a celebration of life in the near future.

Bill Mazzoni My wife and I met Ann kind of by accident: she happened to be up in the Pacific Northwest, one summer, including one of her nieces, Trisha, who happened to live next door to us, here in Edmonds, WA. Trisha invited Ann to come meet her neighbors, assuring her that it would be a fun experience for all. That was indeed the way things worked out. We immediately liked Ann, and with Trisha's help we planned to make a special trip to Novato on our next visit to the Bay area, just to reconnect. That "side trip" to Novato turned out to be a regular destination for us, each year, after that. Before long, we found ourselves really looking forward to being with her again. Her warm and gentle, personality always greeted us in the manner of a favorite aunt. If the rest of the worlds population included enough people with her big heart, patience and willingness to listen, this world would be a very much happier place for all. Knowing Ann Wade, even for such a short time has been a hugely heartwarming treasure. We're so grateful to Trisha too, for bringing her sweet aunt over to meet us. E will always remember Ann with smiling hearts.
