To My Beloved Mom,
There are no words that can truly express the depth of my love or the emptiness your absence leaves behind. You were my first home, my greatest teacher, my constant source of strength, and my safe place. Your love was unwavering, your kindness limitless, and your sacrifices shaped the person I am today.
Though my heart is broken, I find comfort in knowing that your love can never be taken away. It lives in my memories, in the lessons you taught me, in our family, and in every act of kindness inspired by your example.
Thank you for every hug, every sacrifice, every prayer, and every moment of unconditional love. Being your child has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I will carry you with me always, until the day we meet again.
Rest peacefully, Mom. You will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever cherished.
With all my love,
Your loving daughter, Millie

I got to spend time with Maria when Jackie and I were in college together and later living in Boston. Maria’s warm humor always led to laughter and fun. She encouraged us to work hard but also to enjoy life and go out to music and dance places, which we did! Lovely memories. She had such a big heart and her love and devotion to her family were always front and center. She was a remarkable, loving person who will be deeply missed. Love to her family.

Maria was such a kind and fun person. I was one of Maria’s caregivers and whenever I would see her in her room she would offer me a snack and tell me to sit down and we would chat away. She would tell me how much she loved her kids and story’s of her life. She was an amazing person that never failed to make me laugh. She loved listening to music and would tell me how she loved to dance and would even get up from her chair to show me her dance moves to show me she still got it. May you rest in peace Maria love you.

She will never be forgotten. She would give anyone the shirt off her back or her last penny, even if it meant she had nothing left for herself. She loved her children fiercely and cherished being a mom.
Strong, funny, feisty, and stubborn until the very end.
May you rest in peace. You will never, ever be forgotten.
Love you, Mom.
