On June 24, 2021, Robert Ruszala, our beloved husband and father, passed away at the age of 84, after a brave battle with Parkinson’s, with his family by his side. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on January 31, 1937, the son of Stanley and Lena (Sosnowski) Ruszala. Robert graduated from MSU and worked as a probation agent for the State of Michigan. He enjoyed photography, birding, traveling, snowmobiling, and collecting and restoring antique snowmobiles. After retiring from the state of Michigan, he traveled the United States with his wife, Inez, in their RV, until settling in Tucson, Arizona.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and also his brother, Tommy Ruszala.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Inez; three children, Robin (Maria) Ruszala, Rochelle (Mike) Faull, and Rondy Ruszala; 4 grandchildren, Nathan (Kristina) Ruszala, Faye (Jesus) Munoz, Amaya Ruszala, and Raiden Ruszala; 5 great grandchildren, Elena, Andres, Elicia Munoz, Olivia and McKenzie Ruszala, with Iris coming soon; and also several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place with services to be held at a later date.
